Its Location: The Crown & Anchor in Upper Weston, on the Western edge of Bath, was opened in 1833 as a beer house by a stone mason called Solomon Slingo. Famous for having the most elaborate inn sign in the city. The pub has now been converted to Shaad Indian Restaurant and its becoming one of the most popular restaurants in the city of Bath.
